Okay, so there's a lot of info here to go through already. I'll need time to go over it all and digest but here's a few notes in reply to a few things that stood out:

No worries. I was actually more concerned you might take offense at my response. I really was just trying to be helpful just as you were. It did seem you were misunderstanding or missing quite a bit of what I said in my OP and why I was specific. Time stamps on the posts indicated my link was there before you replied. Probably a cross post. Again, no worries. My point was simply to please pay a bit more attention to the information already offered so you don't have to waste your time on info that is already clear. @Whomever pointed out seeing code for the player in another [unconventional] file (sorry I'm having trouble reading the posts while in edit mode so I can't see who mentioned it):
Yeah, I saw that too and wasn't fully aware how much freedom skin creators have in their code/file structure. Now that I get that, I already have a better understanding of where to begin.
Finally, I get that bit about WebNowPlaying and NowPlaying. One is for web based players that may need a login. The other is for local players. At least that's how I understand it. I have already seen some posts from LCAR's creator "explaining" (rather badly for a beginner like me I might add) how those and other variables can be changed to suit individual needs. Thankfully he has specified iTunes is compatible and tested along with most other popular players so I know it's doable.
From here it's just a matter of my own patience and finding the time to figure out which questions to ask next, if any. Thanks to all!![:thumbup:]( "Thumbs Up")
